About Us

Research CFA Fire Brigade started in 1950 (with no station, no truck and no gear!) and we’ve come a long way in those 75+ years since then. We are an entirely volunteer-run station, with our members responding 24/7 to a wide range of incidents, such as grass and scrub fires, structure fires, road crashes, alarms, assisting in storm events and deploying across Australia where we are needed most.
